Jessie Mack is a graduate of Denison University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Studio Art. In 2020, he earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and Management from DePaul University's Kellstadt School of Business.

​

Jessie currently serves as the Director of Development and Communications for Live Free Illinois, a nonprofit organization dedicated to rebuilding Black communities and addressing systemic issues like gun violence and mass incarceration. In this role, he oversees fundraising initiatives, implements strategic marketing campaigns, organizes special events, and fosters relationships with donors and stakeholders.

From 2009 to 2022, Jessie faithfully served at First Pentecostal Church Chicago as the Associate Pastor of Media and Technology, Youth Pastor, and Media Coordinator. He currently serves at his local assembly, The Powerhouse Chicago, as Youth Pastor, working closely with teens to inspire and guide them in their spiritual growth.

Prior to joining Live Free Illinois, Jessie spent over a decade working for a network of charter schools in Chicago, where he gained extensive experience in institutional advancement, marketing, and community engagement. He concluded his tenure there as a senior-level professional, overseeing development efforts and cultivating key relationships to support the organization's mission.

​

An outgoing entrepreneur with a passion for design and marketing, Jessie founded JMack Designs, LLC to empower others through marketing and graphic design. JMack Designs is an approved vendor for Chicago Public Schools and serves clients across Chicago and the United States.

​

Jessie is a proud life member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and community service remains central to his work.
